Rosa Belmonte was named in honour of Francesca Elbrick at her wedding, as a sign of her husband’s love. ‘Belmonte’ is part of Francesca’s maiden name, after a village in Calabria, southern Italy.
Both Tristan and Francesca Elbrick have a great love of gardens, and hope that all who discover Rosa Belmonte will enjoy planting this stunning rose, knowing that by doing so they are helping a great charity to continue its work for young people.
Rosa Belmonte was inspired by the wish to give a bride a lasting memory of her wedding day for her garden, and by the long tradition of romantic love represented by roses.
We hope that you enjoy all that the Belmonte Rose evokes, whether you are placing them in your own garden or sending some to friends.
